Sun Cakes are moist, delicious and nutrient-packed almond chiffon olive oil cakes. Absolutely no BS (unless you mean baking soda..).
 
Olive oil tenderizes our cakes. It is chock full of antioxidant polyphenols and monounsaturated fatty acids that help lower our body’s LDL (low density lipoproteins), or “bad cholesterol”, which are responsible for heart disease and stroke.
 
To add sweetness, we use a blend of honey, allulose and chicory root fiber. Chicory fiber is a prebiotic that adds sweetness without causing a blood sugar spike, and is supportive of a healthy gut microbiome. Allulose is a 0 calorie cane sugar derivative that tastes just like sugar, has a glycemic index of 0, and does not cause gas and bloating like sugar alcohols. There are no sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners in our cakes.
 
Each cake is individually packaged and designed to be taken on-the-go, eaten right out of the pack, or to be incorporated into a meal with fruit, yogurt, ice cream--you name it. Our cakes are also formulated with 600 IU Vitamin D (a 100% Daily Value), 5g Fiber, 5g Protein, and are gluten-, dairy- and trans fat free.
